The Whizmanage system supports 7 different discount types, each tailored for a different purpose. Understanding the differences between types will help you choose the right tool for each promotion.

Product Adjustment
Definition: Direct discount on specific products
When to use:
- Discount on a specific category
- Promotion on a specific brand
- Discount by product attributes
- General sale on product group
Examples:
- "20% off all electronics"
- "$50 off shoes"
- "30% off summer clothing"
Cart Adjustment
Definition: Discount on entire cart amount
When to use:
- General discount on entire purchase
- "Over amount X get discount" promotion
- Automatic coupon for all customers
- Discount based on cart amount

- "15% off entire cart for Hanukkah"
Bulk Discount
Definition: Tiered discounts based on purchase quantity
